Litigation & Regulatory Lawyer (Trainee or Experienced)

About the role
DLA Piper is seeking a motivated lawyer to join its Litigation team in Milan. You will support senior lawyers and partners on commercial disputes across multiple industries, working on both court and arbitral proceedings.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct legal research and due diligence for client matters.
- Assist in drafting legal opinions and contractual documents.
- Analyse contractual agreements and other legal documents.
- Engage fully in client matters, supporting senior counsel throughout the dispute lifecycle.
Required profile
- Italian qualified lawyer with strong academic results.
- Ideally 1‑2 years of post‑qualification experience, or a trainee expecting to sit for the first Italian Bar Exam session in 2027.
- Excellent communication and drafting skills in both Italian and English.
- Service‑oriented, organized, and able to meet deadlines.
- Motivated team player with an entrepreneurial mindset.
