Maintenance Technician

About the role

As a Maintenance Technician you will be the hands‑on problem‑solver who keeps our hotel environment safe, functional and welcoming for guests, students and staff. Working closely with the Maintenance Manager, you will handle a variety of repairs and preventative tasks in a fast‑paced, ever‑changing setting.

Key responsibilities

• Address day‑to‑day maintenance issues across the property, including plumbing, lighting, locks and minor repairs.
• Perform daily walk‑arounds to ensure indoor and outdoor areas remain clean, safe and presentable.
• Carry out preventative maintenance checks to identify and resolve potential problems early.
• Execute minor painting and cosmetic touch‑ups as needed.
• Coordinate with external contractors for specialist work and oversee their activities.
• Monitor and replenish stock levels of tools, materials and spare parts.
• Assist the Maintenance Manager with ad‑hoc tasks and projects.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a maintenance role, preferably within hospitality.
• Strong hands‑on technical aptitude and a calm, solution‑focused attitude under pressure.
• Ability to work independently while being a collaborative team member.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and schedules.
• Fluent Italian language skills.
