Managing Director – Italy

About the role

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking a Managing Director for its Care Enablement business in Italy. The role combines commercial leadership with full responsibility for Sales, Marketing and Customer Service, driving growth and profitability while aligning with global strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Care Enablement business in Italy, overseeing Sales, Marketing and Customer Service functions.
• Translate global and regional strategies into clear local plans to increase market share, revenue and customer satisfaction.
• Own commercial performance metrics including sales, margins, pricing and budget delivery.
• Implement go‑to‑market strategies, manage tenders, drive CRM adoption and leverage analytics.
• Ensure cross‑functional alignment with HR, Operations, Logistics, Finance, Procurement, Quality and Regulatory teams.
• Act as the primary interface with regional and global teams, resolving critical issues and ensuring compliance.

Required profile

• Extensive leadership experience in commercial roles within the healthcare, medical device or related industry.
• Proven track record of delivering growth, profitability and market share improvements.
• Strong understanding of sales, marketing and customer service best practices.
• Ability to work across multiple functions and influence senior stakeholders.
