Partner-level Tax Lawyer (M&A) – Milan

About the role

We are looking for a senior tax lawyer to join a leading law firm in Milan at the partnership level. The successful candidate will focus on the taxation of domestic and cross‑border M&A transactions as well as structured finance deals for corporate and private‑equity clients.

Key responsibilities

• Advise on tax aspects of M&A, real estate, fintech, insurance and high‑net‑worth individual transactions.
• Handle cross‑border tax issues for national and international clients.
• Develop and manage a portable client portfolio to support partnership growth.
• Collaborate with corporate, finance and private‑equity teams on complex structured finance transactions.

Required profile

• Senior counsel on the path to partnership or an existing partner seeking a new opportunity.
• Proven experience in tax law, particularly in M&A and structured finance.
• Ability to bring a portfolio of existing clients to the firm.
• Strong understanding of domestic and international tax regulations.
