Pricing & Contracting Manager EU - Shockwave

About the role

Johnson & Johnson is recruiting a Pricing & Contracting Manager for Shockwave Medical, a MedTech business developing Intravascular Lithotripsy (IVL) to treat calcified cardiovascular disease. The role is based in Italy (Pomezia) and supports pricing strategies and contract streamlining for the cardiovascular portfolio, working with Commercial Operations, Finance, Legal, IT, Sales, Marketing and Market Access.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a team of individual contributors and/or supervisors, including performance management and goal setting within timelines and budgets
• Support new product launches and advise on pricing proposals for critical go-to-market wins
• Drive offer development, administer contracts with limited oversight and create efficient systems
• Implement contract policies and processes, and develop plans for assessing financial and compliance risks
• Provide pricing analytics, support value-based pricing and help build a sustainable contract lifecycle management process

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business or a related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred)
• 10+ years of experience in pricing, finance or commercial analytics within medical devices, pharmaceuticals or healthcare
• Fluent English
• Hybrid/remote arrangement depending on location and business needs; travel up to 20% may be required

Required skills

• Data analysis and risk mitigation
• Pricing systems, ERP systems, CRM tools and/or contract management software
• Advanced Microsoft Office, especially Excel

• Base pay range of EUR 56,100 to EUR 96,945
