Project Manager – Customer Projects

About the role

We are seeking a proactive, customer‑oriented Project Manager to join Berlin Packaging’s team. The role will serve as the primary liaison between Sales, customers, and internal departments, guiding new customer projects from brief through development, sample delivery, validation and final implementation.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Sales team in evaluating and managing new customer briefs and project requests.
• Coordinate project activities from concept through development and implementation.
• Act as the main point of contact for customers and internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Define project timelines, milestones and deliverables, ensuring deadlines are met.
• Organise preparation and delivery of samples, prototypes and supporting documentation.
• Monitor progress, identify risks or delays and propose corrective actions.
• Facilitate communication and alignment among Sales, R&D, Operations, Quality, Supply Chain and Procurement.
• Provide regular status updates to customers and internal teams.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high quality and customer satisfaction.
• Support product launch and industrialisation activities when required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing or a related field.
• Previous experience in project management, customer project management or product development.
• Experience working in a manufacturing or packaging environment is a plus.
• Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Customer‑focused mindset with the ability to work cross‑functionally.
