QC Chemical Lab Analyst

About the role

Lesaffre's Gnosis by Lesaffre business unit produces nutritional actives, probiotics and nutritional and functional yeasts. Its QC department ensures quality control of all materials, intermediates and finished products according to specifications and GMP rules, and supports the product release. This full-time temporary contract is a position within the QC Chemical Lab in Pisticci Scalo.

Key responsibilities

• Perform chemical and chemical-physical analyses for process controls, input materials, intermediates and finished products, according to plans, specifications and quality standards
• Carry out the analyses required by the stability plan
• Validate and transfer analytical methods and demonstrate their correct application
• Maintain and calibrate instruments, draft and/or revise laboratory SOPs and instrument and process qualification protocols
• Cooperate during internal and external audits, OOS investigations and deviation investigations

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy or Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Technologies
• At least 1-2 years of experience in the same role
• Fluent Italian and English (required)
• Result-oriented, proactive, with a sense of urgency and good relational skills with colleagues

Required skills

• Knowledge of GMP and GLP
• Gas chromatography, HPLC and Karl Fischer titration
• Basic chemical laboratory equipment
• SAP (nice to have)
