Rack Bar Team Leader – 3rd Shift

About the role

As a Rack Bar Team Leader on the 3rd shift, you will guide a team of operators on a dedicated manufacturing line, ensuring smooth, efficient, and safe production. You will act as the primary point of contact for line performance, quality, and continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily LPA audits and quality checks to maintain product standards.
• Troubleshoot line issues, escalating to maintenance or supervisors when needed.
• Maintain tooling, fixtures, and assist with machine changeovers.
• Support the daily production plan and implement new programs, processes, and tooling trials.
• Drive continuous‑improvement activities focused on safety, quality, and productivity.
• Delegate labor to workstations, ensuring compliance with work instructions and control plans.
• Document training on work‑center forms and keep the training matrix up to date.
• Enforce company policies, employee handbook, and environmental health & safety regulations.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1‑5 years of experience in manufacturing or assembly operations; machining experience is a plus.
• Basic language and high‑school level math skills.
• Ability to make independent, complex decisions.
• Willingness to work the 3rd shift.

• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Proficiency with measuring devices and gauges.
• Capability to conduct LPA audits and quality checks.
• Strong troubleshooting aptitude.
