Regional Health Manager – Occupational Health (Italy)

About the role

Join the Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) Global Medical and Health team as a Regional Health Manager for Italy. You will lead the delivery of occupational health services, ensure compliance with local regulations, and act as the subject‑matter expert for employee health and well‑being.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction and advisory support to external occupational health providers across Italy.
• Ensure all services comply with Italian health, safety, and medical regulations and Amazon policies.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of legislative changes and communicate impacts to internal stakeholders.
• Define, monitor, and report health‑related metrics to the global WHS team.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate workplace health risks, including physical and psycho‑social factors.
• Develop and implement programs that safeguard employee well‑being.

Required profile

• Professional proficiency in English (C1 CEFR), both written and spoken.
• Medical degree with a specialization in Occupational Health.
• Experience advising on occupational health matters and liaising with local authorities.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Background as a safety technician and experience in project management is preferred.
