Room Service Attendant

About the role

The Room Service Attendant ensures that guests experience a clean, welcoming environment throughout their stay. Working on the closing shift, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of hygiene, organization, and guest service in a luxury hotel setting.

Key responsibilities

• Complete all closing duties, including storing reusable goods, breaking down supplies, cleaning equipment, and returning items to their proper locations.
• Lock refrigerators, restock items, turn off lights, lock doors, and follow the daily cleaning checklist.
• Set up, stock, and maintain work areas; inspect the cleanliness and presentation of china, glass, and silver before use.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the shift using clean‑as‑you‑go procedures.
• Follow company safety and security policies, report accidents or unsafe conditions, and complete required safety training.
• Present a professional uniform and appearance, protect company assets, and maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
• Greet and acknowledge guests according to brand standards, answer telephone calls with proper etiquette, and communicate clearly and professionally.
• Support team members, develop positive working relationships, and assist with any additional tasks requested by supervisors.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• No prior experience required; entry‑level candidates are welcome.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift and carry objects up to 50 lb, and navigate uneven or slippery surfaces.
• Professional appearance, strong work ethic, and commitment to confidentiality.
• Willingness to follow safety procedures and company policies.
