Sales Engineer – Compact Hydraulics

About the role

We are looking for a motivated and customer‑oriented Sales Engineer to support the growth of our Compact Hydraulics business in the mobile machinery sector. You will combine technical and commercial expertise to develop relationships with OEM customers and distributors, identify new opportunities and promote our solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and develop the assigned customer portfolio, identifying new projects and business opportunities.
• Analyze customer application needs, collaborate with Application Engineering, and propose suitable technical solutions.
• Prepare and negotiate commercial offers, manage the quoting process and follow‑up opportunities.
• Update CRM/ERP systems, monitor performance, pipeline and forecasts, and support budget preparation.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronic, Automation, Management Engineering or related technical discipline.
• 3‑5 years of experience in technical‑sales, application engineering or sales engineering, preferably in hydraulics, mobile machinery or industrial automation.
• Excellent written and spoken English; additional European languages are a plus.

Required skills

• Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.
• Familiarity with CRM and ERP systems.
