Sales Team Lead - Central Italy

About the role

Deliveroo is looking for a Sales Team Lead to join its Central Italy team (Tuscany, Marche and Umbria). As a founding member of a growing team, you will help build and maintain relationships with Italy's most premium and highly regarded restaurant partners. The role sits in the Local Sales team, which focuses on acquiring high-profile restaurant groups.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coordinate and mentor a team of Business Development Managers to hit collective acquisition targets.
• Work with the Regional Manager to run business meetings with high-profile restaurant groups.
• Identify and generate new business through strategic outreach and face-to-face meetings.
• Conduct high-level negotiations to acquire premium customers and expand the market footprint.
• Demonstrate the value of Deliveroo's technology and services to potential partners.

Required profile

• Significant experience managing and developing high-performing commercial teams.
• Proven track record in commercial roles, targeting and securing new business.
• Ability to lead complex, high-level negotiations and present to senior stakeholders.
• Proactive, results-driven mindset with a focus on ownership and autonomy.
• Nice to have: deep knowledge of the Italian restaurant industry and an existing network in the restaurant or hospitality sector.

What we offer

• Total target compensation of EUR 47,200 - 59,000 per year, with a base salary range of EUR 36,308 - 45,385.
