About the role

ASQ International is seeking an Upper School Principal to lead the Secondary School (Grades 6‑12) of a forward‑thinking international school in Milan. The role starts in January 2027 or sooner and offers the chance to shape a vibrant learning community where inquiry, creativity and student agency are central.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for academic, pastoral and operational aspects of the Secondary School.
• Ensure high standards of teaching, learning and assessment across Middle and Senior School.
• Promote student wellbeing, kindness, respect and a culture of high expectations.
• Collaborate with proprietors and senior academic leaders to improve outcomes and curriculum delivery.
• Foster a strong sense of belonging, school spirit and community engagement.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in an international or bilingual school setting.
• Demonstrated ability to lead diverse teams and manage change.
• Commitment to holistic student development and wellbeing.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
