About the role

We are looking for a Senior Corporate Counsel to head our legal operations in Italy within the energy sector. As the sole legal advisor for the subsidiary, you will be responsible for ensuring transparent and compliant business practices while supporting the company’s growth.

Key responsibilities

Negotiate and draft international commercial contracts related to energy projects.
Identify, assess and mitigate legal and project risks across the subsidiary’s activities.
Monitor and communicate regulatory developments affecting the Italian energy market.
Develop and implement compliance frameworks and internal policies.
Provide legal advice to senior management on corporate, commercial and regulatory matters.

Required profile

Admission to practice law in Italy.
Fluent English, both written and spoken.
Minimum 8 years of experience as a lawyer in a multinational environment.
Proven experience in the power or energy industry is a strong advantage.

Required skills

International contract negotiation.
Regulatory analysis for the energy sector.
Risk management and compliance implementation.
