Service Project Manager

About the role

HITACHI ENERGY ITALY S.P.A. is looking for a Service Project Manager in Monselice, Italy, to lead the execution of small, low-complexity projects. The manager ensures that all activities follow company procedures, contract specifications, quality standards, health, safety and environment requirements, cost and profitability targets and scheduling targets.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure the project complies with company health, safety and environmental policies and plan it according to the contractual scope of supply and HSE requirements.
• Monitor and control project progress, resource use, financials, invoicing, costs, expenses and cash flow.
• Identify, qualify and manage risks and pursue opportunities; capture, analyse and share lessons learned.
• Drive formal project closure, contract close-out and customer acceptance, and apply contract and claims management in line with company policy.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain Management to procure services, materials and equipment, and support negotiations, claims and project changes.
• Act as key customer contact and escalation point, building relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Define project plan documents (scope, financial, schedule and risk plans) jointly with the Project Controls department.

Required profile

• Engineering degree (electrical or management preferred).
• Excellent knowledge of English and Italian.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.
• At least 2-3 years of project management experience is nice to have.

Required skills

• PMP or PMI certification is a plus, not mandatory.
• SAP knowledge is a plus.
