Shift Engineer

About the role

As a Shift Engineer at art'otel you will be the backbone of our hotel’s engineering operations, ensuring that every guest experiences a seamless and memorable stay. You will combine technical expertise with a personal touch, delivering high‑quality maintenance and safety standards throughout your shift.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine and corrective maintenance on all hotel equipment and systems.
• Set up, calibrate, and troubleshoot engineering systems to guarantee optimal performance.
• Monitor safety compliance, report incidents, and follow emergency and evacuation procedures.
• Collaborate with housekeeping, front‑desk and other departments to address guest and staff maintenance requests promptly.
• Document maintenance activities, incidents and repairs in accordance with standard operating procedures.
• Participate in mandatory health and safety training and continuous professional development.

Required profile

• Proactive attitude with a strong focus on guest satisfaction.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary hotel team.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities during different shifts.
