Software Engineer / Developer

About the role

STAM is seeking a motivated Software Engineer/Developer to join its Digital Solutions Business Area in Cagliari. You will work on web‑based solutions for clients across energy, infrastructure and industry sectors, participating in the full software development life‑cycle.

Key responsibilities

• Develop responsive web interfaces for client projects.
• Participate in all phases of the software development life‑cycle, from analysis to deployment.
• Prepare technical proposals and contribute to R&D activities.
• Collaborate with agile teams to design system architecture and integrate components.
• Support testing, validation and acceptance processes.

Required profile

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Up to three years of experience in software development (not mandatory).
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Good communication skills in English and ability to produce project documentation.

Required skills

• Ability to create responsive web interfaces.
• Proficiency in Java or Python.
• Experience with MySQL or another relational database.
• HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript or TypeScript.
