Software Engineer Mobile – Android

About the role

Technogym is looking for a passionate Android Software Engineer to create innovative mobile applications that support millions of users worldwide in their fitness and wellness journeys. You will work on cutting‑edge Android solutions that integrate with back‑end services and connected equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high‑performance Android applications.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Integrate external data sources and APIs (REST, SOAP) to deliver seamless user experiences.
• Continuously evaluate and adopt new technologies to improve development efficiency.
• Identify and fix bugs, optimise app performance, and ensure robustness through unit testing.

Required skills

• Solid experience with Android architecture and clean software design principles.
• Proficiency in Kotlin (including coroutines) and Java.
• Experience with Dependency Injection frameworks such as Dagger.
• Test‑Driven Development (TDD) experience.
• Ability to call remote services (REST, SOAP) and handle JSON serialization/deserialization.
• Contributions to open‑source projects or GitHub repositories.
• MSc or Ph.D. in Engineering or a related field.
