Trainee or Junior Lawyer – Litigation & Regulatory (Milan)

About the role

DLA Piper is seeking a motivated Trainee Lawyer or a junior Lawyer to join its Litigation team in Milan. You will work closely with senior lawyers and partners on commercial litigation matters, supporting multinational clients in both court and arbitral proceedings.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct legal research and due diligence for client matters.
• Assist in drafting legal opinions and contractual documents.
• Analyse contractual agreements and other legal documents.
• Support senior team members throughout the lifecycle of disputes.
• Engage directly with clients under supervision.

Required profile

• Italian-qualified lawyer with strong academic results.
• Ideally 1–2 years of post‑qualification experience, or a trainee expecting to sit for the first session of the Italian Bar Exam in 2027.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in Italian and English.
• Service‑oriented, organized, and able to meet deadlines.
• Motivated, entrepreneurial mindset and a team player.
