Waiter/Waitress – Hospitality Service

About the role

We are looking for a friendly and attentive Waiter/Waitress to join the service team at Soho House. You will be the first point of contact for members, ensuring every visit is memorable through impeccable hospitality and seamless service.

Key responsibilities

• Greet members, present menus and ensure tables are set before seating.
• Take orders, communicate them to the kitchen, and confirm dishes before serving.
• Open and pour wine or champagne, keeping glasses topped up throughout the visit.
• Check for allergies or dietary requirements and make informed menu recommendations.
• Maintain a clean and organized service area, including opening and closing station procedures.
• Provide the bill, process payments and handle any member queries or complaints professionally.
• Log member preferences and accommodate special requests when possible.
• Support the back‑of‑house team by running food and drinks as needed.
• Participate in regular team meetings and tastings to stay updated on menu changes.

Required profile

• 1–2 years experience in a busy, high‑profile hospitality venue.
• Passion for food, drink and delivering first‑class service.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent customer‑service skills.
• Fluent in English, reliable, organised and able to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to handle feedback and resolve member issues with professionalism.

Required skills

• Wine service – opening bottles and proper pouring techniques.
