Architect – Design & BIM Specialist

About the role

AECOM Italy is looking for a motivated Architect to join its Architecture & Design team in Milan. You will work on a diverse portfolio of public buildings, transportation facilities, defense infrastructure and urban regeneration projects, delivering high‑quality design from concept through construction.

Key responsibilities

• Develop architectural concepts, design studies and detailed drawing packages.
• Produce and coordinate BIM models, drawings, schedules and technical documentation using Revit and other digital tools.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering, sustainability and digital delivery teams to ensure integrated design solutions.
• Apply sustainable design strategies and contribute to energy‑efficient outcomes.
• Participate in design reviews, client presentations and coordination meetings.
• Support project delivery across all phases, including tender and construction.
• Conduct site visits to capture construction conditions and feed improvements back into the design.
• Ensure compliance with internal quality processes, BIM workflows and applicable codes.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Architecture (LM‑4) or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in architectural design and technical documentation.
• Strong design sensibility with the ability to translate concepts into coherent architectural solutions.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Revit (mandatory).
