Business Development Manager

About the role

Nuvei is seeking a Business Development Manager to accelerate its growth in the Italian market. Reporting to the VP Sales Southern Europe, you will identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities within the rapidly evolving payments and fintech landscape.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in Italy’s payments and fintech sectors.
• Develop and execute go‑to‑market strategies to increase revenue and market share.
• Build and maintain relationships with prospective and existing clients, partners, and industry stakeholders.
• Negotiate and close commercial agreements that deliver mutual value.
• Collaborate with product, marketing, legal and other cross‑functional teams to deliver tailored solutions.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes to inform strategy.
• Represent Nuvei at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
• Provide regular reporting on pipeline, forecasts, and market feedback to senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics or a related field.
• 2‑5 years of experience in business development, sales or partnerships within payments or fintech.
• Proven track record of driving revenue growth and closing complex deals.
• Fluent in English and Italian, both written and spoken.
• Strong understanding of the Italian payments and fintech market.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a global team.
• Willingness to travel within Italy as required.
