Business Development Manager

About the role

Gazer, an international manufacturer of automotive security systems, is expanding into Italy and needs a Business Development Manager to own the market from day one. You will build the partner network, shape the company’s presence in Rome, and drive sales of immobilisers, dash cameras and related electronics.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and map target automotive partners in Rome, including dealerships, importers, distributors, fleet operators and insurance companies.
• Conduct cold outreach via phone, email and LinkedIn to generate new leads.
• Visit prospects in person to present products, coordinate sample testing and run demos.
• Lead negotiations, close distribution or partnership agreements and transition accounts to ongoing key‑account management.
• Report pipeline status and market intelligence to the international team and senior leadership.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of full‑cycle B2B sales experience, from cold outreach to signed contract.
• Proven track record of successful cold calling, email and LinkedIn outreach.
• Existing management‑level contacts within automotive businesses or automotive insurance companies in Rome.
• Native‑level Italian and professional proficiency in English (B2).
• Own vehicle and willingness to travel across Rome for client meetings.
