Business Manager – On Trade (Italy)

About the role

The Business Manager – On Trade will be responsible for driving sales growth and building strategic relationships with key on‑trade customers across the assigned Italian region. Reporting to the country commercial team, you will shape the Bacardi portfolio presence in bars, restaurants and hotels, ensuring the brand’s legacy and commercial objectives are achieved.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver revenue, gross margin and profitability targets defined in the country financial plan.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with strategic on‑trade customers.
• Implement customer and shopper programs as outlined in the Country Integrated Activity Plan (IAP).
• Utilise Commercial Excellence tools such as Pictures of Success to activate brands at the point of purchase.
• Identify new business opportunities and contribute to category and channel planning.
• Lead, motivate and develop the local sales team to foster a shared vision and winning spirit.
• Travel extensively within the region to engage with stakeholders and monitor market dynamics.

• Proven commercial experience in on‑trade or similar sales environments.
• Strong ability to build and nurture strategic customer relationships.

• Excellent leadership and team‑inspiring capabilities.
• Willingness to travel frequently across the assigned area.
