Client Manager – Infrastructure, Power & Utilities

About the role

Marsh Risk is looking for a Client Manager to join its Client Management structure in the Infrastructure, Power & Utilities Team based in Milan. The team advises clients on risk and insurance issues across the construction and power & energy value chain, helping them reduce the total cost of risk and manage volatility. The position is offered on a permanent basis.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of predominantly large, complex and/or multinational clients in Construction and Power & Energy, focusing on growth and retention
• Work closely with Specialties, Placement, Operations and Insurers to support client retention and new business
• Implement the Placement strategy, negotiate with insurance carriers and lead and sign off insurance program design
• Provide technical advice and comprehensive account reviews from a managing and financing standpoint
• Produce budget proposals and negotiate fees
• Host client and insurer meetings with specialist broker and client service teams

Required profile

• Degree in Economics, Management Engineering, Engineering or similar
• Proven experience in a client-facing management role in Insurance or Insurance Brokerage
• Property-Liability (combined) insurance experience
• Fluent written and spoken Italian and English
• Ability to manage workload, prioritise tasks, work independently and in a team

• Gross annual salary starting from EUR 50,000 for a full-time position, with possible higher pay depending on experience and qualifications
