Compliance Manager II (EMEA)

About the role

The EMEA Controls & Compliance Manager serves as a liaison and business partner to finance teams across the EMEA region, ensuring proper application of US GAAP, internal controls, and company accounting policies.

Key responsibilities

• Provide guidance on internal control and policy matters to site and finance leaders.
• Conduct reviews of key internal controls and financial processes, including risk assessment, planning, execution, and reporting.
• Identify control gaps, recommend improvements, and support implementation of new controls and policies.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors for quarterly and annual audits.
• Support balance‑sheet reviews, statutory audits, and new business acquisitions in the EMEA region.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA licensure strongly preferred.
• 7–10 years of progressive audit or accounting experience, preferably in a large public accounting firm or US public company.
• Strong knowledge of Sarbanes‑Oxley and US GAAP.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to lead through influence and mentor junior staff.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
• Experience with SAP or Oracle ERP systems.
• Familiarity with AuditBoard, OneStream, or similar audit management tools.
