Construction Manager

About the role

The Construction Manager leads the planning, coordination and control of construction projects from award to client hand‑over. Working closely with the Project or Site Manager, the role ensures that all activities meet health, safety, environmental and quality standards while delivering the required functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Guarantee full compliance with HSE, security and quality policies across all project phases.
• Provide leadership and build the project organisation, ensuring personnel hold required certifications and training.
• Coordinate mobilisation, demobilisation, equipment, temporary facilities and tools from award to hand‑over.
• Monitor time, cost, quality and safety targets, interfacing with subcontractors, vendors and clients.
• Define resource needs and develop detailed construction programmes aligned with the overall schedule.
• Validate constructability criteria and review engineering documents for compliance.
• Oversee material delivery, prefabrication and daily site activities, supervising superintendents and supervisors.
• Track progress, identify issues, implement corrective actions and report to the Project/Site Manager.
• Manage punch‑list closure, testing activities and hand‑over of subsystems to commissioning.

Required profile

• 10+ years experience as a Construction Manager on civil or building EPC projects.
• Experience managing projects in remote locations.
• Advanced knowledge of surveying techniques, engineering design and standards.
• Ability to read multidisciplinary engineering drawings and understand work sequences.
• Strong leadership and people‑management capabilities.
