Construction Materials Laboratory Technician – Pavements & Aggregates

About the role

Join Tecno Piemonte Spa as a Construction Materials Laboratory Technician in the Pavements & Aggregates department. You will support quality control activities both on‑site and in the laboratory, ensuring that aggregates, bitumen and asphalt mixtures meet national standards.

Key responsibilities

• Collect field samples of aggregates, bitumen and asphalt concrete at production plants or construction sites.
• Complete sampling reports and record client and site‑management data.
• Manage registration, handling and transport of samples from field to laboratory.
• Support daily laboratory operations, including material intake and logistics.
• Perform standardized tests (UNI EN) on aggregates, bitumen, emulsions and asphalt concrete using specialized equipment.
• Accurately record test results on technical sheets and produce detailed activity reports.

Required profile

• Technical Diploma (e.g., Geometra or Perito) or a degree in Engineering, Materials Science or a related technical field.
• Previous experience in materials testing or similar technical roles.
• Valid Category B driver’s licence for field mobility.

Required skills

• Knowledge of UNI EN testing standards for construction materials.
• Proficiency in operating laboratory equipment for aggregates, bitumen, emulsions and asphalt concrete testing.
• Ability to handle sample logistics and maintain accurate documentation.
