Content Editor – AI‑Driven Marketing

About the role

We are seeking a Content Editor who blends editorial excellence with a passion for AI‑driven marketing innovation. Based in Italy and working in a remote‑first environment, you will help shape a modern content ecosystem that improves visibility across search engines and AI‑powered platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute Answer Engine Optimization (AEO), Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) and AI Optimization (AIO) strategies.
• Monitor brand presence, citation performance and AI platform visibility, turning insights into actionable improvements.
• Build and maintain AI‑assisted content workflows using Claude or similar tools for drafting, editing, tagging and updating.
• Establish quality standards, review processes and checkpoints for AI‑generated content.
• Manage content refresh cycles to keep existing libraries relevant and high‑performing.
• Recruit, coordinate and oversee freelance writers, agencies, video contributors and AI agents.
• Create detailed briefs, outlines and editorial guidance for contributors.
• Proofread, edit and quality‑check all content before publication.
• Coach writers with actionable feedback to continuously improve content quality.
• Support digital community growth and collaborate with marketing stakeholders on strategy and priorities.

Required profile

• Strong editorial experience with a focus on digital marketing and AI‑enhanced workflows.
• Detail‑oriented, highly organized and able to manage multiple initiatives independently.
• Proven hands‑on experience using Claude or comparable AI tools.
• Practical understanding of AEO, GEO and AIO concepts.
