Control & Test Engineer Intern

About the role

We are looking for a Control & Test Engineer Intern to join Haier Europe’s R&D team in Brugherio. The intern will work on an innovative project that creates an intelligent algorithm to monitor and control key dishwasher functions such as water filling, temperature, and limescale formation.

Key responsibilities

• Study basic physics principles related to dishwasher operation.
• Support variability analysis using Six Sigma methodology.
• Collaborate with the software team to design an algorithm that detects early‑stage limescale.
• Conduct experimental tests to verify algorithm performance.
• Collect and analyse test data, refine the algorithm for real‑world user conditions.
• Assist in validation and implementation phases of the solution.

Required profile

• Recent graduate or current student in an engineering discipline.
• Fluent in Italian and English, both written and spoken.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
