Corporate Counsel – Sales Legal (France)

About the role

Cisco’s EMEA Sales Legal team is seeking a Corporate Counsel to support sales operations in France. The role combines commercial contract work with strategic legal advice and leverages AI‑powered tools to increase efficiency and accuracy.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day legal support for sales activities and commercial engagements in France.
• Interpret contractual provisions, conduct risk assessments, and propose solutions aligned with business objectives.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements in French and English.
• Integrate AI tools into legal research, document review, and contract analysis workflows.
• Coordinate implementation of corporate legal policies to ensure governance and compliance across regions.
• Serve as a liaison between the legal department and internal sales teams, ensuring scalable and adaptable legal processes.

Required profile

• Admission to the French Bar (Bar admission) with native‑level proficiency in French.
• 5+ years of post‑qualification experience in commercial and corporate law, preferably at a top law firm or multinational corporate legal department.
• Proven ability to draft and negotiate complex commercial contracts independently in both French and English.
• Fluency in English; additional European languages are a plus.
