Data Engineer

About the role

Stellantis is looking for a Data Engineer to join its Data Engineering team in Turin. You will help build and maintain a large‑scale data platform that supports vehicle validation and analytics across the company.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable data platforms using AWS, Databricks Lakehouse, Apache Spark and Airflow.
• Support architecture decisions for a petabyte‑scale time‑series data platform, including data transformations and KPI calculations.
• Develop robust data pipelines with Spark/Photon, Scala and Python.
• Ensure reliability, performance and high data quality of all pipelines.
• Automate data quality testing and monitoring.

Required profile

• Proven experience with AWS cloud services.
• Several years of Infrastructure‑as‑Code using Terraform in production Big Data environments.
• Deep expertise in Spark and distributed processing systems.
• Strong programming skills in Scala and Python.
• Solid understanding of data architecture and CI/CD pipelines, preferably with GitHub Actions.
