Director, Forma Industry Strategy

About the role

This senior strategic leadership position is based in Italy and focuses on shaping the future of a next‑generation cloud platform for the architecture, engineering, construction, and operations (AECO) industry. You will define long‑term product and go‑to‑market strategy, turning market intelligence, customer insights, and emerging technologies into actionable business direction.

Key responsibilities

• Define and lead the long‑term strategy and go‑to‑market direction for the industry cloud platform, identifying growth opportunities and competitive differentiation.
• Leverage qualitative and quantitative research, market intelligence, customer feedback, and AI‑driven insights to develop strategic recommendations and business cases.
• Shape pricing, packaging, portfolio positioning, and adoption strategies to maximize customer value and market impact.
• Develop executive‑level frameworks, strategic briefs, and recommendations to support informed decision‑making across leadership teams.
• Act as a senior evangelist internally and externally, representing the platform with customers, partners, analysts, and at industry events.
• Partner closely with product teams to ensure strategy aligns with customer needs, product capabilities, and market trends.
• Align cross‑functional stakeholders across product, sales, marketing, customer success, and corporate strategy for consistent execution.
• Lead and develop a high‑performing strategy team while establishing effective operating rhythms across globally distributed teams.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in strategy, product management, go‑to‑market, management consulting, or related leadership roles, with significant exposure to the AEC industry.
• Proven success leading strategic initiatives that deliver measurable business outcomes in complex, matrixed organizations.
• Deep understanding of architecture, engineering, construction, and digital transformation trends across the built environment.
• Experience developing go‑to‑market strategies, market positioning, pricing, and commercial frameworks for technology products or platforms.
