Director of Marketing Communications

About the role

The Director of Marketing Communications will shape and execute the full marketing and communications strategy for Mandarin Oriental Cristallo, a new luxury alpine resort slated to open in winter 2026. Reporting to senior corporate stakeholders, you will lead brand development, launch campaigns, PR, digital marketing and social media to position the hotel as a premier destination.

Key responsibilities

• Lead pre‑opening and launch marketing and communications activities, including brand introduction, media engagement and opening events.
• Develop and maintain the hotel’s brand identity and ensure consistency across all outlets and collateral.
• Plan and manage the Marketing & Communications budget and the annual advertising plan in coordination with MOHG advertising department.
• Design and execute PR strategies to secure local, national and international media coverage, highlighting the hotel’s unique selling points.
• Oversee the production of promotional materials in line with MOHG CID guidelines.
• Manage the marketing team and collaborate with corporate stakeholders and MOHG’s international PR network.

Required profile

• Proven experience in senior marketing communications roles within the hospitality or luxury sector.
• Strong track record of leading pre‑opening brand launches and media campaigns.
• Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑visibility environment.
