Director of Sales – Switzerland, Italy, Portugal & Spain

About the role

Harley‑Davidson is seeking a dynamic Director of Sales to lead commercial performance across Switzerland, Italy, Portugal and Spain. Reporting to the Head of Sales & Managing Director EMEA, you will shape regional strategy, drive dealer network growth and ensure sustainable revenue expansion.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a regional sales strategy aligned with EMEA objectives and annual targets.
• Deliver wholesale, retail, market‑share and profitability goals for the assigned markets.
• Lead, coach and develop Field Sales Managers to maximise performance and engagement.
• Define, implement and monitor sales objectives, performance metrics and incentive programmes.
• Provide market intelligence, support dealer profitability and ensure execution of business plans.
• Collaborate closely with Marketing, Finance, Operations, HDFS and Network Development teams.

Required profile

• Proven senior sales leadership experience, preferably in the automotive or consumer‑goods sector.
• Track record of achieving wholesale and retail targets across multiple countries.
• Strong commercial acumen with ability to develop and nurture dealer networks.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Fluency in English; additional European language skills are a plus.
