Early Years Teacher

About the role

Inspired Education Group is seeking an experienced Early Years Teacher to join the St. Louis School Colonna Campus on a maternity‑cover basis starting August 2026. You will work in a child‑centred, Reggio Emilia‑inspired environment that encourages creativity, independence, and a lifelong love of learning.

Key responsibilities

• Implement the school’s Positive Behaviour Policy and pastoral initiatives.
• Plan and deliver engaging, student‑centred lessons for 3–5‑year‑old learners.
• Participate in school trips, assemblies and other enrichment activities.
• Collaborate with colleagues to use assessment data effectively for student progress.
• Engage in staff training and contribute to school improvement initiatives.
• Support extra‑curricular programmes to broaden student opportunities.

Required profile

• University degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field with a recognised teaching qualification.
• Proven experience teaching 3–5‑year‑olds, preferably in a Reggio Emilia‑inspired setting.
• Strong understanding of assessment and data tracking.
• Commitment to personalised, inclusive learning.
• Flexibility to integrate seamlessly into an existing Early Years team for the duration of the cover.

Required skills

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• EU passport or valid visa to work in Italy.
• Knowledge of the UK National Curriculum (preferred).
