eIDAS Auditor – Digital Trust Assessment

About the role

BSI is seeking experienced auditors to join its eIDAS trust services team. You will work at the forefront of European digital trust, assessing qualified and non‑qualified trust services for leading providers across multiple European markets.

Key responsibilities

• Perform conformity assessments against ETSI standards, eIDAS Implementing Regulations and national supervisory requirements.
• Apply a risk‑based, evidence‑driven methodology to evaluate trust service providers.
• Contribute to the development of assessment methodologies and scheme interpretations for eIDAS 2.0.
• Engage with high‑profile organisations and support the expansion of BSI’s assessment portfolio.

Required profile

• Proven experience in conformity assessment or audit of trust services.
• Strong understanding of EU and UK eIDAS regulatory frameworks.
• Ability to work autonomously with technical depth and credibility.
