Finance Analyst - Collections (Part-Time)

About the role

A Finance team in Assago is looking for a Finance Analyst - Collections to oversee the collection process for its Italian customer portfolio. The goal is to reduce overdue amounts and average collection times (DSO) through a structured reminder activity and close coordination between customers, sales and customer service. The role is part-time (20 hours per week).

Key responsibilities

• Manage collections for Italian customers, resolving disputes and claims with Sales and Customer Service.
• Track collection actions and payment commitments for each customer account.
• Prepare credit management reports (aging, DSO, overdue balances) and support the RTR team in month-end receivables closing.
• Handle electronic invoicing errors and prepare data for output VAT reporting.
• Monitor cash flow and forecast weekly cash collections.
• Send payment reminders and contact customers by phone and email.

Required profile

• At least 2 years of experience in collections and/or credit management.
• High level of English (written and spoken) and native-level Italian.
• Accuracy, autonomy and ability to manage priorities; strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Availability to work part-time (20 hours per week).
• Nice to have: shared service center or manufacturing experience, knowledge of Italian electronic invoicing and VAT rules.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel.
• Knowledge of SAP FI and Order-to-Cash is a strong advantage.
