Finance Director – Italy

About the role

Glovo is seeking a Finance Director for Italy to act as the strategic finance partner to the General Manager. You will own the country’s financial planning, performance management and strategic decision‑making, helping shape the business’s long‑term success in a fast‑moving market.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Finance & Strategy team to deliver insights, identify opportunities and challenge the status quo.
• Partner with the General Manager on roadmap, investment decisions and business model evolution.
• Own and steer the full P&L, from revenue levers to cost optimisation.
• Manage annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting and monthly performance reviews across all departments.
• Develop business cases, scenario analyses and predictive models to guide expansion and operational optimisation.
• Collaborate with central finance, strategy and data teams to ensure alignment and best‑in‑class execution.
• Represent Italy in international forums and contribute to Glovo’s global playbook.

Required profile

• 10‑15+ years of experience in finance, strategy, consulting or equivalent high‑impact environments.
• Proven senior leadership experience with full P&L responsibility.
• Track record of building and developing high‑performing teams.
• Strong exposure to high‑growth tech, e‑commerce or marketplace businesses.
