About the role

Join Amazon MGM Studios' International Theatrical Finance team to build the financial foundation for global theatrical distribution. The Finance Manager will partner with distribution and marketing teams to drive strategic financial decisions for film releases worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Drive strategic financial planning and analysis for international marketing campaigns, ensuring optimal ROI and budget allocation across territories.
• Collaborate with territory leads and distribution teams to establish comprehensive budgets and forecasts for theatrical releases.
• Provide high‑judgment financial guidance to support critical business decisions and remove operational blockers.
• Own end‑to‑end financial reporting for assigned territories, delivering real‑time performance insights.
• Build and maintain sophisticated financial models for budgeting, forecasting, scenario planning, and ROI analysis across multiple film releases.
• Conduct variance analysis and deliver strategic recommendations based on market performance and competitive landscape.
• Ensure data integrity across financial systems and optimize reporting processes for scalability.
• Design and implement scalable financial processes for theatrical operations and mentor local finance teams.
• Collaborate with global colleagues to standardize processes and align local strategies with worldwide financial objectives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in finance, preferably within media, entertainment, or a related industry.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities with a track record of influencing cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Ability to work across multiple time zones and cultures, providing clear financial guidance.
• High‑judgment decision‑making skills and a proactive approach to removing operational blockers.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey complex financial concepts to diverse audiences.
