Freelance Mobile Application Developer (React Native)

About the role

We are looking for a freelance Mobile Application Developer to design, build, and maintain a high‑quality React Native app. The role is fully remote and requires an Italian speaker who can work closely with product, design, backend, QA, and DevOps teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop mobile features using React Native and TypeScript.
• Shape and refine the app architecture for scalability and modularity.
• Write clean, testable, and maintainable code and conduct code reviews.
• Integrate REST and/or GraphQL APIs in collaboration with backend engineers.
• Support build, release, and deployment processes for iOS and Android.
• Participate in agile ceremonies and document architectural decisions.
• Leverage AI‑native development tools (e.g., Copilot, Cursor, Claude) to accelerate delivery.

Required profile

• Proven track record delivering mobile applications or major features end‑to‑end.
• Experience contributing to scalable mobile architectures.
• Ability to take ownership of feature quality, reliability, and technical debt.
• Clear communication and effective teamwork in a cross‑functional environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

What we offer
