Function Specialist Application (FA)

About the role

Join Bosch's Engineering team in Turin to support application, calibration, validation and performance optimisation of powertrain control functions in real‑world environments.

Key responsibilities

• Calibrate powertrain control functions on the RB control unit and deliver validated software subsets on schedule.
• Develop and improve calibration activities, including training and applying AI models.
• Provide first‑line technical support for issues arising during field tests, test‑bench activities, vehicle testing and customer fleet operations.
• Act as technical interface between internal development teams, project stakeholders and customers.
• Perform diagnostic and validation activities and support OEM integration tasks.
• Analyse technical issues, define corrective actions and drive continuous improvement of calibration and application processes.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline with strong interest in the automotive industry.
• Good understanding of combustion engines and powertrain systems.
• Results‑oriented, quality‑conscious and able to work analytically.
• Proactive, organised, clear communicator with willingness to travel up to 30% of the time.
• Good command of English; Italian strongly preferred.

What we offer
