About the role
ALO is seeking a dynamic General Manager to lead its Milan studio and store. You will be responsible for driving sales, profitability and brand presence while fostering a mindful‑movement culture that extends beyond the studio floor.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute retail strategies that enhance customer experience, increase foot traffic and grow the client base.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity and local clientele to make data‑driven recommendations.
- Lead, coach and onboard a high‑performing Sales, Operations and Visual team, ensuring alignment with ALO’s mission.
- Manage KPI performance (conversion, average sale, units per transaction) and adjust tactics to meet targets.
- Oversee visual merchandising, fitting‑room conversion and seamless sales execution.
- Conduct talent analysis, create development plans and fill open positions, prioritising internal candidates.
Required profile
- Proven experience in retail or studio management with a track record of meeting sales and profitability goals.
- Strong business acumen and ability to interpret KPI data.
- Excellent leadership and people‑development skills.
- Deep understanding of the local market and community engagement.
