Global Head of Learning Solutions

About the role

RINA is seeking a Global Head of Learning Solutions to lead the design and execution of a worldwide training strategy that embeds a culture of innovation across the organization. The role will be based in one of RINA's Italian offices (Rome, Milan or Genoa) and will report to senior leadership within the Open Innovation Hubs Division.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive global training strategy aligned with RINA’s strategic objectives and innovation streams.
• Create scalable training programs that address critical innovation skills for multiple regions and business units.
• Define and manage innovative training business models, adapting them based on feedback and market changes.
• Oversee resource allocation and budget management for all training initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and external partners to identify needs and enhance training offerings.
• Establish metrics and evaluation methods to measure program effectiveness and ROI.
• Provide coaching and mentorship to leaders and teams to foster experimentation and continuous learning.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Management, Engineering or a related field.
• At least 10 years of experience in training management and development, with a focus on innovation and change management.
• Proven track record designing and rolling out global training strategies and scalable programs.
• Strong experience in budget management, cost control and resource allocation.
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Required skills

• Deep understanding of innovation frameworks, methodologies and best practices.
• Ability to analyze data, KPIs and performance metrics to assess program impact.
• Business development mindset with experience in creating and scaling training models.
