Guest Relations Manager – Luxury Cruise Ship

About the role
We are seeking a Guest Relations Manager to lead the front‑office team on a luxury cruise ship. You will ensure every guest receives personalized, high‑quality service while supporting the ship’s hospitality standards.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional guest services, addressing requests, enquiries and complaints promptly and to satisfaction.
- Maintain continuous communication with the Hotel Director and other ship departments.
- Coordinate, organize and supervise front‑office operations across the vessel.
- Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of ship facilities, ports of call and onboard services.
- Plan and lead training sessions for reception staff to enhance service techniques and guest focus.
Required profile
- 2‑3 years of shipboard experience in a similar role within an international 5‑star luxury environment.
- Excellent fluent English (verbal and written) and conversational ability in an additional language such as German, French, Spanish or Mandarin.
- Proactive problem‑solving attitude and sensitivity to cultural differences.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to lead, motivate and develop a culturally diverse workforce.
Required skills
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience with Fidelio and other hotel operating systems.
