Head of Legal

About the role

MotorK is looking for a hands‑on Head of Legal to lead its legal function across all operating countries. You will act as the chief guardian of compliance, corporate governance and litigation management, providing strategic advice to the Board, CEO and CFO.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure full compliance with international regulations, including GDPR and privacy laws.
• Oversee corporate governance, board secretarial duties and regulatory deadlines.
• Manage business and corporate insurance policies, balancing risk appetite and cost.
• Directly supervise all active civil litigations and coordinate with external counsel.
• Identify legal risks proactively to minimise dispute exposure.
• Lead high‑stakes contract negotiations and supervise day‑to‑day contract management.
• Protect intellectual property assets and provide internal legal advisory.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to senior executives and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Law degree (LL.B or equivalent).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a top law firm, consulting firm or corporate legal department.
• Experience with compliance in a publicly listed company is a strong plus.
• Proven track record of managing complex civil litigations and large‑scale compliance projects.
• Ability to drive multi‑party negotiations to successful closure.
• M&A experience is advantageous.
• Fluency in English and Italian; additional European languages are a plus.
