Head of Production

About the role

Constantia Flexibles International GmbH is looking for a Head of Production in San Prospero. The role oversees production scheduling to meet delivery times, manages the department's budget and leads the team through continuous improvement, working closely with Quality Assurance and acting as Safety Officer.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee production scheduling to meet delivery times, setting priorities and allocating resources
• Manage the department's budget by analysing KPIs on productivity, processing costs and OEE
• Monitor complex machinery and lead preventive and predictive maintenance to minimise downtime
• Guide shift supervisors by addressing training gaps and implementing continuous improvement methods
• Ensure compliance with ISO standards, environmental regulations and health and safety requirements (Legislative Decree No. 81/08)

Required profile

• At least 5 years in production management roles in flexible packaging or converting companies
• High school diploma preferred
• Knowledge of English; interviews will be held in English
• Excellent leadership, analytical skills and stress management, with flexibility, determination and autonomy

Required skills

• Production scheduling (fine scheduling)
• Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen events and problem-solving methodologies

What we offer

• Yearly gross salary between 40,000 and 45,000 euros plus MBO
• 5 days a week, 39 hours in total
