Head of Sales & Marketing for Cities – Italy

About the role

Glovo is looking for a dynamic leader to own the full P&L and drive growth across the Centre Region of Italy. You will steer a team of more than 20 professionals, shape the long‑term strategy, and build strong partnerships with retailers and stores.

Key responsibilities

• Take full profit‑and‑loss responsibility for the Italian centre region.
• Lead, motivate and develop a cross‑functional team of 20+ members.
• Define and execute a long‑term regional strategy aligned with corporate objectives.
• Establish and nurture partnerships with retailers, stores and other platform partners.
• Make data‑driven decisions while balancing business judgment and agility.
• Promote a collaborative, inclusive culture that encourages learning and growth.

Required profile

• Proven experience in fast‑paced environments such as startups, top consulting firms, investment banking or leading tech companies.
• Track record of leading cross‑functional teams of at least five people.
• Data‑driven mindset with strong business judgment.
• Excellent communication and persuasive abilities.
• Resilient, optimistic, and able to own mistakes and learn from them.
• Curious, critical thinker who solves complex, multidisciplinary challenges.
• Highly agile, thriving in ambiguous settings.
• Respectful, kind, and fair; recognized as a strong manager and leader.
• Ambitious, action‑oriented owner mindset.
• Fluent in English and Italian; Spanish is a plus.
