Home Nurse (m/f) – Oristano

About the role

Medicasa, a group company founded in 1993 specialising in integrated home assistance services (ADI) and active in Italy through 15 operations centres, is looking for a qualified and motivated home nurse to join its team in Oristano. The role covers home nursing interventions, the operations centre and professional training.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out specific nursing interventions, technical, relational and educational, in line with the care plan (PAI)
• Provide care tailored to each patient's age, gender, health condition and physical or mental fragility, including religious, ethnic and linguistic aspects
• Give therapeutic education to the patient and the caregiver
• Follow international guidelines and Medicasa procedures, and ensure correct use and storage of materials and devices
• Identify and plan care goals and monitor clinical outcomes
• Keep accurate medical and administrative records using the electronic medical record
• Take part in operations centre team meetings and write periodic medical reports when required
• Keep up to date professionally, earning ECM credits and attending Medicasa training courses

Required profile

• Degree in Nursing Sciences or equivalent diploma
• Valid BLSD certificate
• Documented experience in home care and with paediatric patients
• Availability for irregular hours and flexible working times
• Physical fitness for the job and a driver's licence
• Willingness to travel across the region

Required skills

• Knowledge of computers and main application software
• Ability to work in a dynamic, expanding setting
