Home Physiotherapist (m/f)

About the role

Medicasa Italia, a group company founded in 1993 specialising in home assistance services, is looking for a home physiotherapist to provide general physiotherapy care for the clients assigned to it. The work covers prevention, care and rehabilitation in motor function, higher cortical functions and visceral functions, and includes health education for patients and caregivers. The territory is Milan and the surrounding area.

Key responsibilities

• Provide general physiotherapy care and carry out prevention, care and rehabilitation interventions independently or in collaboration with other healthcare figures
• Carry out specific physiotherapy interventions that are technical, relational and educational, in line with the care plan
• Ensure activities are adapted to each patient's age, gender, health condition and physical or mental fragility, and to religious, ethnic and linguistic specifics
• Provide health and therapeutic education to patients and caregivers and promote their active participation in treatment decisions
• Follow international guidelines and Medicasa procedures, and use the equipment provided correctly and store it properly at home
• Plan care objectives, monitor clinical outcomes and keep accurate medical and administrative records using the electronic medical record
• Identify signs, symptoms and risk factors, and write periodic medical reports when required
• Take part in meetings called by the operations centre and health districts, and keep professional credits (ECM)

Required profile

• Degree in rehabilitation health professions
• Membership of the orders of technical rehabilitation and prevention health professions
• Up-to-date ECM credits
